Hair care tips

Hair extensions need a lot more care than your own hair because the hair follicles no longer nourish the cut tresses. After receiving your hair extension, complement your hair care habits with the products and practices we recommend so it can retain its beauty for a long time.

Combing

Make combing a part of your daily routine in the mornings and evenings. We recommend a wild boar bristle brush. To make things easier when brushing, separate and comb the strands with your fingers every day from the top all the way to the ends, but also make sure to hold each strand separately when combing and move from the bottom to the top to avoid ruffling the hair. Provide extra nourishment to your hair with care products.

Hair washing

Ideally wash your hair twice a week with medium temperature water with your head tilted forwards or backwards. Apply the conditioner and hair mask for at least 10-15 minutes during each wash. Finally, for extra hydration, rinse your hair with cold water.

Drying

Hair extensions should never be combed wet, because that is when they are the most vulnerable. Carefully soak up the water from the hair with a towel, do not rub it aggressively. Use a hair dryer on a low setting, starting at the base and moving towards the ends of the hair, to protect the keratin joints from overheating. It is healthiest for hair extensions if you let them dry on their own.

Sleep

For the night, it’s a good idea to tie your hair in a loose braid or comfortable ponytail.

Leisure

Seawater and chlorine can dry out hair, always rinse thoroughly after contact with them.
